It seemed like yesterday when the idea of the programme started and here we are, counting the numbers of trained paediatric endocrinology across west and central AFrica.
I believe this website will reach areas of the world we couldn't touch in a short period since the inception of this training programme.
The high tech age we are, is also a blessing. Which is ensuring a global exposure of the training center through this medium across the world.
The field of paediatric endocrinology to a non initiate is esoteric and only special people like the geeks venture, research and manage children and adolescents with endocrine and metabolic problems. But to us,endocrinology is the beginning and all of medicine. With the array of hormones and factors that are being discovered daily as molecular medicine enables us to look and see more than we have ever been allowed to. It is obvious that no system in the body has being spared the effect of hormones.
